Default Anyone watch jPod?

Well you won't be able to for much longer.. CBC is canceling it, along with MVP (never watched that)

Why do shows I like always get canceled?

The book wasn't that great IMO, nowhere near as good as Microserfs was. The show wasn't as good as the book either, so meh.

Reading the thread title, I simply assumed that Jpold and Jroc came out of the closet and have a love baby together.

jPod was shaky at first, but was really starting to come into its own.

I really enjoyed it. They're blaming the series cancellations on the Leaf's not making the playoffs. Lame!

Despite the enjoyment we derive out of poking fun at Little Mosque on the Prairie, it actually is a hit with both critics and audiences, and the CBC has sold it to networks in other countries. It's one of the most successful original Canadian sitcoms ever made.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Mosque

Quote:
The series premiere drew an audience of 2.1 million — an exceptionally strong rating for domestic programming in the Canadian television market, and on par with Canadian ratings for popular American series. It was, in fact, the largest audience the CBC had achieved in a decade for an entertainment program. By comparison, Corner Gas, one of the highest-rated Canadian TV shows, attracts just under a million and a half viewers for a typical episode.

[...]

On May 8, 2007, it was announced that the show would be airing in France, Switzerland, and Francophone (French-speaking) African countries beginning in July. The French television company Canal+ Group will distribute the show's first season in July to non-subscribers of Canal+, a channel to which viewers must subscribe in order to watch. French voice-actors will dub the show.

On September 26, 2007, CBC announced that the show would soon air in Israel, the West Bank, Gaza, Dubai, Finland and Turkey. On October 2, 2007, Al Jazeera English confirmed that both the United Arab Emirates and Finland had signed deals to begin airing the series in 2008.

I actually enjoyed the book, one of Coupland's better recent efforts. His earlier books are still the best - including Microserfs, but I did enjoy Jpod. Didn't watch the show though.

It had potential. I watched a couple episodes but couldn't really get into it.

The book was alright but I agree it was no where near as good as Microserfs.

Book was alright, I got a few chuckles out of it.. But I've really enjoyed watching the show. Especially once Steve started doing heroin.. he became awesome.. and Cowboy was perfect.
