It is enabled isn't it?? Can't you just edit the first post in your thread and change it? I'm gonna test that.
Yes it works... You edit post #1, click "Go Advanced" and edit the title there.

Yes but it doesnt actually edit the thread name, just the subtitle.
Actually it does... but not in the Fire on Ice forum for some reason.

Yeah you can't edit thread titles currently, I'll have to take a look at it. I think we made it that way during trade time one year when people were posting garbage threads then changing the title or something.

Yup, you are correct, I was trying to find where to change the permissions last night and there are no permissions to change, so it's something everyone can do.
The other way is to just double click on the white space beside your thread title on the forum display and it'll let you edit it (at least this works for mods).

That doesn't change the actual thread title in the forum list. It ONLY changes the title of the first post in the thread.

I went to [Edit -> Advanced] and then changed the text in the Title box... but all it did is change the "Title" of my post, not the title of my thread.

weird, i was able to add the ? to the end of the Luongo leaves the canucks thread, but no dice on a second attempt to change it to maternity watch
