I was under the impression that this was common knowledge.
You know how bad Arkansas sucks?
They suck at sucking.
You will discover this after cracking open the dry, crusty lips of any Arkansian woman. Not a pleasant experience.

Little Rock is a cesspool.
I hear there are some nice areas of Arkansas...rural areas...with scenery.
Little Rock means CRACK. Think about it.

Arkansas State Constitution, Article 19 Section 1 ("Miscellaneous Provisions")
No person who denies the being of a God shall hold any office in the civil departments of this State, nor be competent to testify as a witness in any court.
Looks like I wouldn't be able to testify in Arkansas. Nice state/country you got there!

So that's an excuse for removing rights of people like me?
I've been to the south. Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas. I'd rather not go back.

I'm sure that antiquated clause is invoked constantly in Arkansas.

Are you really that sure? Is it all that antiquated? These places are incredibly backward.
Also, does it even matter if it's enforced or not?

If its not enforced, then why do you care?
Are you running for governor of Arkansas?
This thread isnt exactly all about extolling the endless virtue of Arkansas.

Ooooh...a gay joke. Tough to top that one.
I apologize that our "backward" society affords homosexuals the same rights as the rest of the population. And atheists too. Those damn atheists. We should just kill them all.

We have a law in Canada that states "Absolutely NO black people are allowed in this country, if you are black and you try to enter Canada, you will be hanged".
Is this wrong? But what if we don't enforce it? Is it still wrong?
A de facto law is not law. Only law is law. Morally reprehensible law covered by a tolerant de facto law is still morally reprehensible.

In Ohio, there's a law on the books that makes it illegal for more than x (I believe it's 6) number of females that are not related by blood or marriage to reside in the same residence because that would constitute a brothel. Therefore it was difficult to have sororities at universities.
I dont know if that's a de facto law, a morally reprehensible law or a morally reprehensible de facto law... it's definitely wrong though.

Not just Ohio... one of my friends attending UVic lives in brothel by virtue of a similar law.
