This used to be an easy question, but now that The Police and The Pumpkins are back together, I'll have to say ABBA.

Death From Above 1979 gets my ultimate vote though. Those two guys made HELLA GOOD music and tragically only released two albums (and a remixed version of the their sophomore album). MSTRKRFT is still pretty good, but nothing compared to the orginal DFA 1979.

I loved IME too. That band went downhill after Edwin left.

Blink 182
I know their lyrics were too intellectual for most of you to listen to them though.

I used to really like Blink, but after the farce that was Angels & Airwaves I just cant deal with them anymore.
I never took blink seriously, but now they'd be a complete joke.

After their last two releases, I hope Weezer stays dead. Compared to Blue, Pinkerton, and Green, that last one was an absolute disgrace. Rivers Cuomo should be shot.

He made an album/song for money. Every band does it at some point.
Beverly Hills was their only #1 hit. Gotta make the money somehow.
Although I will agree that the last two albums werent what most weezer fans come to expect.

A fifth for Dire Straits...I'm very sad that MK is coming through during Stampede...I doubt I'll be able to see him.
