Yeah, of course. Apparently, they were a few months away from re-uniting when he died.

Talking Heads.
In fact byrne was approached by the rest of the gang last year but he told them to get bent (in so many words) and did it through email. He is a brilliant enigmatic guy, but a complete ego-maniac and it's too bad. What a brilliant band.

On topic, a year ago I would have said Portishead, but after listening to their forthcoming album i wish the would have stayed dormant.
I would say No Doubt, but I believe their also releasing a new album.

They are still doing shows in 2008, so they are still together. One the same track I would like to see Audioslave back together, just so that I can see them live.
I'm sure that some one will be posting this sooner or later but The NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK are getting back together.
Third for Dire Straits

I'd have to go with I Mother Earth as well....Damn good band, one of the pinnacle Canadian groups in the 90's.
Death From Above 1979 gets my ultimate vote though. Those two guys made HELLA GOOD music and tragically only released two albums (and a remixed version of the their sophomore album). MSTRKRFT is still pretty good, but nothing compared to the orginal DFA 1979.

I'd love to see Steve Perry join Journey again. I had no idea they were still "together". It's really not the same sound without Perry fronting them.

I dont know how long standing their reunion will be, but they did get back together for at least a few shows in Britain.
I'll also add Blur.
