I can, and I will...
If you do Drugs, you are the biggest idiot in my book, all respect i'd have for you is gone.
Minimize my pain? Until you've lived in my world you don't know the kind of pain i've felt, my family has felt and the person that did it had felt.
Sorry... drugs can destroy your mind and destroy your home i've seen it first hand.
I am militant against it, I think anyone who deals it should be tied up and publically beaten with a spiked baseball bat.
With that, I will leave this thread... Clearly i'm still highly bothered with what i've seen due to drugs to someone I cared about.
Adios

Probably haven't had a prescription in over ten years. In fact, it was in the fall of 1996. So nearly 12 years ago... oh wait. I had prescription ear drops about 5 years ago. Got a massive earache. Once the pain was manageable I stopped talking the drops.

This thread is awesome.
Myself, Ive never picked up a hooker, and have no plans to. Just... yuck.
Blow, yeah I've done it, but its like another user said... the negative effects greatly outweigh the positives. At least for me anyways. I know some people who really get off on huffin a few rails. I don't like it, and will turn it down. Unless I'm gunned and someone puts it under my nose, then it's rampage time. I never look for it, but somehow its always around.
Drugs are just fine for those who are responsible and know their limits... I was very antidrug when I was younger, and that changed as I became older and more informed.
I'm happy I experimented with drugs and know what certain drugs are about. I'm also happy I left certain drugs alone.
And I thank baby Jesus everyday for ho-jazz.

or conversely you could unregister yourself from the boards(is this possible) and we could continue on our merry way. The h&b response in almost every thread is a little overboard sometimes, but this is a very interesting thread.
Blue square for quite obviously not being old school despite your claims. And while i am not the grammar nazi I would suggest next time you wanna call someone an uneducated, unemployed idiot, do try and spell it right.

I really don't bother with it anymore. Once in awhile, perhaps. Moderation is key.

Haven't read the whole thread, but this is basically spot on.

If you can manage doing Cocaine, I guess good on you.. but chalk me up as being blown away it's so common. Even with my experiences I really didn't realize so many people did it casually.. if CP is a sample size of the greater population.

Well if you look at the poll results in the 'who did you vote for' thread, it isn't.

agreed...wow.
alot of my high school class (i recently found out) are coke heads, and do some other pretty questionable stuff. im VERY thankful that i lived a relatively sheltered life (i guess) from this kind of stuff. maybe its just me, but all i ever hear are the horror stories of people losing houses, cars, and most importantly FAMILIES to a drug (or alcohol) addiction. its just not worth it to me. nada on both counts (hookers and blow).

As for the thread I haven't done either hookers or blow.
|
These two statements contradict one another, don't you think? The fact that probably everyone one this forum knows someone whose life has been ruined by drug use is probably the strongest argument against drug use.

Big difference, one is illegal, one isn't. And I don't believe in paying for sex either, but if someone is gonna pay for me.....Bring it on.
And I had the same opinion as your buddy. The one my buddies paid for was $400, so I wasn't gettin some disgusting 2 toothed chick, the chick was super hot and was working for a very reputable escort agency in Vancouver......if you can use reputable and escort in the same sentence.

No, not really. There are some people who are too unstable to handle drugs and drugs end up destroying their life for at least a time. However, I know people that can handle doing drugs on a recreational basis. I'm not going to sit here and call those people idiots.

You never really know what's happened to you until it's done. I've known people who thought they could handle it for awhile, too. The effects are more than just physical.

I know. I agree that anything beyond a joint is bad and that's why I don't go further than that. But I'm not going to call someone who does an idiot and I don't think it's at all a fitting description.

Idiot probably isn't the right word. I don't know. I can't really judge people for their choices, even if I disagree with them. However, I do have a problem with people advocating the use of drugs, especially in the course of a relationship.

Whatever happened to being satisfied with a joint?
The difference here is coke is INSIDIOUS whereas pot is just evil.

I haven't read through the whole thread, but in my view one of the biggest problems with taking drugs is it's against the law. And by getting caught and convicted, you can end up closing a lot of doors.
As an example, I've heard of a young man wanting to join the army and being refused because he was caught smoking a joint of marijuana.
