I always figured the reds were for good burns or insightful posts and the blues for being completely ignant.. Thats right not ignorant, ignant..

Kool aid aside couldn't you argue that the charter is a big thing that was done right. You can also used the term 'great' in several contexts. ie Hitler had a great impact on world history (and no I am not comparing Trudeau to Hitler.)

Do you think that Mormons vote in higher numbers than your average, every Joe working at a saw mill who watches the NFL on Sundays instead of going to church? Give me an honest answer.

Ultimately, Trudeau tried to implement a Canadian solution to a Canadian energy crisis. A politician can't be blamed for disregarding the needs of a large voting block (conservative Albertans) that didn't vote for him anyway. The NEP made him a hero in the Atlantic provinces. Like him or not, he was a very charismatic figure who is fondly remembered by the vast majority of the country.

So Lethbridge is made up entirely of Mormons and blue-collar drunks?

You are on a roll tonight, dude.

Taft doesn't bother to travel down to Calgary to do a planned speech tonight.

Good riddance.

So Alberta is not part of Canada? My god, screwing Alberta into economic submission is a Canadian solution? Are you freaking kidding me?

I could care less about who likes him, HE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST THE WEST, a west that was supposedly part of the nation he was tasked to govern.

Awful Canadian. Awful human being. And I didn't find the middle figure particularly charismatic.

The post-secondary socialist garbage really gets me. I've worked all through university and have paid rent, car payments and tuition. It's doable, I just don't have as much time to lounge around in coffee shops.

PCs up by 22 votes now in Cardston - this one for sure is going to a recount.

I'm guessing there will be no Mormon vs Christian debate down there?

As much as I am a critic of the two party system of government that exists in the United States, at least they don't ever end up with what we have seen here tonight. The PCs are currently at just under 53% of the popular vote, yet look set to take 88% of the seats.

And because of that any party named 'Liberal' won't ever fair well in this province.

Or get Sfaced at the den. I remember university being the easiest 4 years of my life. As much as people complained you don't have to work that hard, no real responsibility and tons of drinking. I have a tough time listening to students whine.
