Default WTB: Windows 98SE startup disk

I have an older secondary computer (when the new comp is in use or whatnot) that runs on Windows 98Special Edition Operating system, however I lost the startup 3.5" floppy disk. If anyone else would like to sell theirs, I would like to buy it. I have the CD, but I require the startup floppy disk, anyone?

Something that just occurred to me- wasn't Win98SE bootable direct from CD?

I think the reason why nobody did was most of us liked to copy the cab files to a Win98 folder on the C drive and install from there, so it would never ask for the CD again.

Where were you a couple years ago? I always booted from the CD since I could never get the bootdisk to work right. Copying the CAB files is just brilliant. damn

Not all computers at the time supported boot from CD-ROM. Now it comes standard as a BIOS feature so people take it for granted. It almosts seems like you can boot from a toaster nowadays if it has a USB connection.
