WestJet Sale: "Over 80% Off" - ends tonight
I never post threads in this forum, so this better not be fata. I checked, I swear!
Anyhoo, there's a big sale on at WestJet for their 12th anniversary.
I've checked some Ottawa to Toronto flights and some are as low as $12 (pre-taxes etc. of course).
You have a couple of hours!

Doesn't look like Calgary is included as an option as a departing city, too bad. Travel up to June 25th.

Just my luck...
I'm looking to take the whole family to Newfie land for a couple weeks in August.
I may have to sell one kid to be able to afford it.

You could probably fly to Kandahar for less money than you could to Newfoundland. Good luck with that!

I am in the same boat, I wanted to go to N.S. this summer but it is rediculous. I went to DisneyWorld last year and it cost less for flight, hotel and park passes then it is going to cost to just fly to Halifax.
Something is wrong here.

It's free to Kandahar is you don't mind a stopover in Tajikistan, and carrying a rifle for 7 months.

I've been looking for cheap flights to Vegas for Easter. No luck anywhere, at least not without going via SF or some other strange connection.

I was just about to log-on and buy a few tickets until I saw this post. Perhaps they should change their name to EastJet.

I find that West Jet's service is getting worse and worse all the time. At first, it was acceptable as they were marketing themselves as a "budget" airline. But now that they usually charge as much as Air Canada (right to the nearest dollar), I usually avoid them. Of course, Air Canada is pretty sucky too at times.
It sucks to live in a small centre like Prince George. It costs more to fly from here to Edmonton, Calgary, or Vancouver than it does to fly from any of those cities to practically any other place in Canada... and the airline deals never extend here.
I'm pretty happy about one thing though... apparently Alaska Airlines is going to be coming to Prince George, which will mean that we'll have many more options now.

The discounts are probably offerred where the airline is less popular. In Alberta and BC, it seems like West Jet is pretty popular already.
