Default Bump on Head

Ok, get the "go to the doctor" posts out of the way. Yes, I know...

Now, for the rest of you, please tell me WTF... I've bumped my head a few times (hence my f'd up posts). Funny thing is, the bumps remain. Yeah, I've got a bump on my head that is at least marble sized. And a couple others. We'll not discuss the reasons why there are bumps on my head, let us just rest assured that no more bumps will accumulate. No more fights, no more crazy forklifting...
So, I'm faced with the task of ridding my dome of bumps. Anyone else have this little problem? Bumps on your head? I think that it is fluid that enters when the bump originally forms, and it is never drained. Will they just cut the bumps open and drain them? Is it actually my skull forming bumps? Am I forced to have hair for the rest of my life lest I look like a crazy psychopath?

In all likelihood, what you've got are a bunch of dermatofibroma. Basically, when your skin has suffered injuries, it builds up an excess of scar tissue - something which develops over time. They turn into hard lumps, kinda like cysts. Benign, but lumpy.

Or you're a mutant.

I suggest you get a wife))) because it is clearly evident that you can not take care of yourself))

In all seriousness, please see a doctor. I think you probably have scarring below the scalp from where the points of collision occurred. I was in an accident once, passenger on bus, flew out of seat and hit bus pole, to this day, have a slight bump there, is internal scarring.

I don't know if you can remove them, I am sure you probably can and I would imagine with the surgery techniques they have now, you would not have scarring..... so you would still end up pretty.

No. But if you shave your head, you can texture your walls. And frighten children.

Thta's what I needed to hear. Internal scarring. I can account for each and every one. Fall down mountain, check. Sucker punched, check. Lost fight that I deserved to lose, check. Rolled over in bed and hit head on night table, check.

I think I've done it all...

Like cauliflower ear but on the scalp?

I've got a touch of the cauliflower ear but I've had way more head trauma than ear trauma. Mostly blunt force trauma though (think floors, stumps, roads) instead of knuckles and tables so I don't have any bumps on my head.

There is some memory loss and uncontrollable crying though.

Stories only come out during fits of anger.

For now, I'm seriously wondering if anyone has had a bump on their head. I have..ummm...4. I just don't want to sit in a f'n waiting room for a doctor to tell me to beat it. I really dont mind if a doctor tells me that it's nothing. Just wondering if anyone has had bumps on their head that they've had examined. Is this normal? Am I a FREAK???
