Default Raptors do dufii trade.

The old dufus for dufus trade(one of my favorites) Dixon for Brezec.

Dixon got a bad attitude so I don't mind this trade even though I never even heard of this Brezec guy. He's a 7 footer so he might help. Besides anyone for Dufus Dixon would be good. I would have trade him for a dozen basketball.

As everyone says, it's a sideways deal, and I like the fact that Colangelo isn't going to pay the price this year to sacrifice the future where hopefully this year they get a middle-of-the-pack 1st rounder, but what the hell is with Colangelo trading for international guys for the sake of trading for international guys???

Actually as far as dufii trades go it's a solid move. Defending big men is NOT a raptors strength. Another seven footer who has six fouls to give is always handy. They can put guys like Howard who is a horrible foul shooter on the line and not put Bargnani or Rasho in foul trouble.

Delfino can easily do a better job than Dixon at temp point guard till Ford returns so as a minor dufii deal it's not a bad move.

I think it was more just to get rid of Dixon and his bad attitude more than who they got in return.

It wasn't a bad attitude, he just wanted to play. Toronto didn't have a spot for an undersized two guard with no ball handling skills, thus a trade. Primo is a Slovenian like Rasho, so that could help that two country men will ply their trades side by side. Primo isn't an athletic marvel, but he's got size and as alluded to earlier, he's got six extra fouls for an opponents bigs. Maybe those fouls and size will see that he figures out how to boxout.

And wouldn't ya know it he looks good in his debut. Was active on defense and ran the floor well. Put in 11pts and looked like a solid backup guy. Of course it was one game and adrenalin based no doubt so a larger number of games required to really know if they got something. But if he can play like that for 10 minutes a game they did well in the trade.
