Another decent episode.

The reward challenge was nasty, Tom is human afterall as Jeff takes him down. there was little doubt in my mind about round 2, Stephenie kicked some serious tail. Round 3 had Angie showing how tough she is, dunking both memebers of the other team, helping a very strong Bobby Jon win the round and the reward.

Tragedy strikes as Jeff rolls his ankle, Ulong is clearly in trouble.

Its another physical challenge. Jeff has to bail early, not surprisingly, Kim and Angie follow soon after. Bobby Jon tries his hardest to pick up the slack. Tom once again puts the fire fighting skills to work, carrying a huge load and leading Koror to victory.

Jeff asks his team to vote him out, they snuff his torch out at tribal council.

I think I would have kept Jeff and turfed the utterly useless Kim. She doesn't even try. "They're doing too much work, blah blah blah". At least Willard the old guy puts in an effort. And holy crap, how tough is Angie? Nice work in the reward challenge. Stephenie is strong as hell too. Bobby Jon impressed this week as well, too bad the others on his team aren't as determined. Tom is just superhuman, although he showed he's not Superman in the reward challenge. Ian continues to be steady, Caryn should STFU and Katie just makes me laugh.

I think that the only two on Ulong that have a brain realised that Jeff at half health is still better than kim but the others were much to quick to get rid of a guy who asked for it so they would not be on the block themselves.

He rolled his ankle. In two days he could be back to normal. If he had been healthy I would have really liked Ulong chnces in the immunity challege over Koror.

Tom is a champ

yes he got taken down in the reward, but Jeff is probably 15 years his junior at least, and is pretty strong himself

I would love to see someone like Tom win the game....but every season has a guy like him, and they usually get taken down by the meek...sometimes very early. these guys often don't even make it to the jury

Yeah, Bobby John has really impressed me. He is by far the hardest working waiter they've ever had on Survivor. I think he was right to want to keep Jeff because you never know if the next immunity challenge is going to involve something like one member barking out directions and the rest of the tribe trying to retrieve puzzle pieces. At least Jeff could cut coconuts, and maybe the ankle would improve in another day or two, whereas Kim is just going to continue being useless. Still Ulong lacks the one leader that Koror has. They do alright at the challenges as they've beat Koror badly both times...but in immunity they just don't have it. Whereas Tom seems to be able to dig down and get the others to respect and follow his lead. Still if Jeff is healthy Ulong has a very good chance in that challenge because Stephanie is far and away the strongest female competitor in the game.

Tom reminds me of Savage from 2 seasons back (my wife thinks he's the best Survivor ever). Not that big, but dominating the guys that look physically stronger. That immunity challenge was far and away the best one they've ever had - a great combination of strength, teamwork and mental stamina.
