LOL Johan Bjork, emergency D call-up (63 OV) get an assist on the game winning goal in his first game. Nice one. The Bruins are really itchin to bring in a big name before the deadline but are scared silly it will miss with the SIM chemsitry we have had this season. Sheldon Souray and his 80 SC is tentatively on the trading block. If you've got offers MSN them.

Another game another loss. I guess this team didn't receive the memo that we are in a play-off race. Thanks to Hasek for allowing 3 goals on the crazy 26 shots. Heaven forbid you actually steal a game for the Flyers one of these days.

Another one goal game despite plenty of shots. Goalies must lick their lips at the chance to pad their sv% stats when facing the Flyers.

Even those these bums aren't scoring for me they could score for you. Plenty of highly rated, high EX/LD guys available on the Flyers team.

Goaltenders duo with Turco getting his second shutout in less than week. Miller played a strong game for the Caps stopping all but one shot. With the win Detroit leapfrogs the Yotes and sits just one point back of the Sharks for 6th in the conference.

No time for rest as Dallas is up tomorrow night.

Well, with three regulars out of the line up, we did pretty well. The Blues tried to make the come back but didn't have enough pop in there guns. Glad to have another day off so that we can at least get one player back from injury before the next game

Some killer fire wagon hockey in at the CBJ today. Dany Heatley lights us up for a hattie, but Jonas Hiller came in and said...Hey Dany, your Jedi mind tricks won't work on me! Cogliano with 2 goals and a helper, Freddie Sjostrom with a goal and assist, Joe Pavelski with a goal and helper, and Jaro Spacek with 2 assists and the newest Calgary Flame, The Jim Vandermeer who once bought a love seat off my buddy in Sylvan for $200 also had two assists. Darius Kasparitis also scored as did Rene Bourque. When Darius scores...it's your day.

Wild appear to be starting to put it together and have tied the Blues in the conference - and now sit just 1 point back of the Hawks for the division lead.

Tomas Vokoun the story of this one - 29/30 on the night. Evgeni Malkin 2 points to pace the attack.

Balance scoring and defense appear to be our formula for success this year.

Straka gets 2 goals for the 2-2 tie against the Rangers. Fernandez played................... when it was Holmqvist's supposedly in net, so Fernandez will never be healthy, at least we tied........ Panthers were outshot 27-22, but hang in for the tie.

Pens continue to roll. This team has upped its effort the lats few games and it is showing in the win column. We are now 6 points up on the 9th place team and we control our own playoff destiny here. Gonna be a tough stretch ahead as the battle from 5th place to out of the playoffs is still closely gapped. We will rest up for 2 days and then get ready for a tough battle with the Howe leading Oilers.

Isles didn't play, but we'd like to thank the Jackets and Wild for their clutch victories that help our team!!!

Leafs beat Preds 4-1.

Another good effort from this team. That's our 5th win in a row and 6th in 7 games. Oddly enough it's also our 3rd straight game with a 4-1 score.

We weren't much better than the Preds- the outshot us 32-28. But the difference in the game was Lundqvist stopping 31 of those 32 shots. Big game from him. Also the 4th line chipped in with 2 goals from Avery and Veilleux.

2 days off before our next game. The next time we drop the puck it looks like we'll be 100% healthy and a handful of points ahead of 9th place. Hopefully we can keep it that way down the stretch.

A 5 point game by Heatley and a loss... hell I'll take it. In Carolina we'll take individual accomplishments over team success.... for Dany that is

The Predators GM submitted lines for this one....and naturally we lost! There are a lot of trade talks surrounding this team, and there will be a lot of new faces before the deadline!
