Ah tough loss for the Isles... big game against a team we're chasing but came up short.

Big win for the Predators and big game for Anson Carter! The Preds win a close one 5-4 over the Sens.

Ducks win again!!! wow what a shocker, first we beat a tough LA team and now we beat the Flyers. Got outshot by quite a margin but Dipietro stands on his head and gets a win. Both goals scored by supporting lines, nice to get a streak here and put some points on the board. We are looking forward to next season for sure!

Wow. I think the result speaks for itself.

Anyone who wonders why I think this team will miss the play-offs take a look at this result.

I knew it would be tough to expect a win against an overmatched team but to see another 35 shot/one goal result with guys with 80,79,76,75,75 and 74 SC ratings blows my mind. Perhaps these guys are too good at scoring to score on all their shots?

Things certainly don't get easier tomorrow against the Wild.

As always the Flyers are looking to sell. If anyone wants our older, highly rated guys let me know on MSN, PM or e-mail.

This team's a bit of an enigma. We consistently outshoot the opponents (like in this game 32-25) and we lose 4-2. I was hoping for a better performance against the top team in the league, but oh well. Wallin had a great first game as a Hab with assists on both goals.

Hopefully we can rebound from this one.

Thrashers beat the Habs 4-2 and hit the century mark with 101 points on the season! This is just 1 off last year's full season mark of 102 points in GM Sutaria's 1st season. St.Louis lead the way with 2 goals and Roloson made 30 of 32 saves as the Thrashers were outshot 32-25.

Crazy SIM Stat: Check out the times of the 2 Habs goals in the 1st period and note that the 2nd goal had 2 assists!

Leafs beat Isles 4-1.

Second straight 4-1 win for the Leafs. That's our 4th win in a row and 5th in 6 games. With that we've climbed from 9th place to the middle of the playoff pack. Hopefully this time we stay there.

Pretty good all around game for the Leafs. Goals from 4 different players, 2 for 3 on the PP, and Lundqvist stopped 23 of 24.

We face off with the Preds, again, on Wednesday.

Huge win for the Pens as we try to solidify our spot as a playoff team. Higgins was the hero today as he scored 2 shorthanded goals including the winner with less then a minute left to play. Another tough test for the Pens today as we play the Blues.

another day another loss for the Senators... As they fade down the stretch... Staal is starting to heat up though as is Williams... Can we rebound or will we continue to spiral out of the race... Time will tell.
