When you recognize Jamie Macoun after catching momentary glimpse of him in Bankers Hall.

You get excited when Lanny McDonald sits two seats in front of you on an airplane.

You're an old Calgarian when you remember:

-getting drunk in the TradeWinds Tavern on 20 cent draft;
-you know where and what Happy Valley is;
-Dog N' Suds;
-Opus 69 Record Store;
-Black Sheep Clothing store;
-Bench clearing brawls at the Centennial Games;
-who Henry Viney is;
-Miles for Millions;
-CKXL;
-the original Claudios

When I went to Spokane years back I took a picture of "Wendle at the Y" like it was some sort of a landmark.
