It was like a playoff atmosphere in Pete's Peanut Pub last game. The crowd went nuts when Phaneuf scored late, and when Iginla scored.
I like that place, lots of Flames fans; lots of noise. I second Rhettzky's motion to get it on a Flames game.

Again, I cannot stress how the crowd at the pub was right into the Flames, made me feel like 2004 again.

2 - 12 inch screen screens split to 4 screens?
They would be pretty tiny, wouldn't they?
I'm guessing they meant 2 - 12' screens

I will bump.
I will step up also and do some organizing. I appreciate Redvan is busy, and I have some free time during the day. I will call a bunch of leagues and present options at the pub, and also on here. I will put together all the suggestions in this thread into coherent form. I have run a team for over a decade so It shouldn't be too hard.
I will also gladly step aside once all the preseason organizing is done, and let someone else take it from there. At that time I would much rather just be a player sitting drinking beer.
What I may not be able to do is attend league meetings in the evenings. So I would need hep in that area as required. Lots of leagues have already had initial meetings, so we will need to move fairly quickly. I will PM those who have shown interest in attending Pete's Peanut Pub to maybe provide the initial financial stake. If Troutman can cosy up to the staff there and get some cash great, that could cover the initial costs.
The negative there is the pub may want thier name on any t shirts or jerseys we get, and they may be inclined to have us attend thier location after games. Thus that may limit geographically where we want to play to cut down on driving time. I think we will find the farther from the diamonds is the team pub, the less number of people who will make the effort.
Anyway, sponsorship is just one of many things to consider. I will put together a list of things to decide discuss during Dallas' PPs!
I will call around and get 4-5 prices on tshirts or jerseys if required. I think it was Resolute that suggested our CP handels on the back of tshirts.
Okay, off to work I go on the phones, etc.
Anyone who has new suggestions, ie not already in this thread; for leagues, location, or tshirt suppliers please get them to me. The suppliers I will call first are ones I've used in the past: Team Skyline and Sports Swap.
I won't be making any decisions, just gathering information to present to everyone else.
Aeneas.

Anyone going through Inglewood to get there? I'd love to come, but holy pick a place hard to get to by transit!

I wrote Pete's Pub to see what is possible. How much do team jerseys usually cost? Maybe my firm might be willing to sponsor.

Cant you wait for the presentation?
Anywhere from $15-$75 per unit depending on style. Average typical ball jersey with letters, logo, and name would run 40 -50 per unit.
Basic tshirt with name and number much cheaper.
I'll bring a catalog with all options from Team Skyline. Don't need to purchase through them, just gives every one an idea on style.
I would think Tshirt with nickname would suffice, and thats pretty cheap, but it's up to everyone to decide.

I'm out of town on the 20th but I used to run a league many moons ago and can certainly help out where needed. As far as uniforms go I'd definitely pony up 20-50 bucks for the cause.
