I saw the 360 version at the HMV in chinook on the weekend. I would phone first to make sure they still have them.

For the solo's (and big rock endings) you dont need to strum if you use the small neck buttons. You just need to tap the correct fret button as the note passes on the correct timing. It works similar to the hammer on sections, but you dont need to hit any previous notes for it to work.

BTW... I freaking hate this weeks DLC. I was really hoping for better cause Im hosting a big ol' rock band party this weekend. Ugh.

ok, tried the solo buttons for those 2 songs, still freaking impossible. I give up on expert, no way that's humanly possible. Time to work on drums i guess.

I bought mine from Superstore for $199 as well, the logic being may as well pay $30 extra now instead of waiting 2 or 3 more months.

I just bought mine on ToysRUs.ca for $169.99 with $7.99 shipping. Looks like they're still in stock for the 360 and PS3 too.

They had about 3 360 copies and 8 PS3 copies as of 4:30 last night at the Deerfoot Meadows Walmart.

It's definitely a step up on GH3. The notes are placed better and it's a lot more like playing the song on guitar.

Having the crowd sing along in 5.1 surround is awesome.

I saw a stack of them at London Drugs last weekend. I think it was the 130th Ave location.

So when the Wii version of Rock Band comes out will there still be downloadable songs? or should one invest in another platform if they like the downloadable content.

I can't imagine why not, however it is possible they will not offer it I suppose.

I bought Guitar Hero 3 yesterday and after getting home and trying it out, I gotta say, Rock Band is infinitely better. I feel ripped off.

I'd be surprised if they didn't.

Apparently Guitar Hero 3 should start seeing DLC soon on Wii so I'd imagine that the Rock Band guys porting it would be focusing on that.

I love Weezer, but I don't think El Schorcho is the best choice for a rock band song.

Garbage- dont care for it.

The STP track is ok. I might pick that one up.

thanks for posting the link, didn't think it required.

Yeah, not a big fan of any of those songs. Hopefully the hacked list that was posted last week comes true (the next weeks songs were on there), and there are some muse songs.

Blur Beetlebum
Def Leppard Hysteria [This could also be a Muse track, which is also awesome]
Foo Fighters D.O.A.
Garbage Why Do You Love Me?
Iron Maiden Wrathchild
Jonathan Coulton Still Alive [Song played during the credits of Portal]
Oasis Rock n’ Roll Star
The Smashing Pumpkins Zero
Stone Temple Pilots Sex Type Thing
Tokio Hotel Through the Monsoon
Weezer El Scorcho

Grateful Dead:
Alabama Getaway
Casey Jones
China Cat Sunflower
Franklin’s Tower
I Need a Miracle
Sugar Magnolia
Truckin’
The Rolling Stones:
Brown Sugar
(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction
The Who:
Behind Blue Eyes
Pinball Wizard
Nirvana
Breed
Come As you Are
Lithium
Lounge Act
On a Plain
Polly
Smells Like Teen Spirit
Stay Away
Territorial Pissings
Something in the Way
