Default Writer's Strike Over?

Quote:
Former Walt Disney chief executive Michael Eisner said, "It's over. They made the deal, they shook hands on the deal. It's going on Saturday to the writers in general." "A deal has been made, and they'll be back to work very soon," Eisner said, adding, "I know a deal's been made. I know it's over."

But not so fast...

Do not, repeat, do not, believe anyone who claims that the writers strike is over yet.
So says Nikki Finke

If this is true, this is fantastic news. Here's to some new TV!

Dear Hollywood,

If the wishes of every living, TV watching human being have been answered, and the writers strike is indeed over, I have one wish... that may not be similar to the masses.

Take your time. Please do not rush shows to return. Most of you in Hollywood rushed to get shows done in time before the strike happened. This hurt last season... hurt it bad. Instead of rushing and delaying rerun season, develop, and create less crap. We will return, but will be disapointed if our favourite shows return with duds... that's right 'Heroes', I'm specifically looking at you.

I know everyone has a fix that hasn't been filled over the last few months, but I for one would rather see quality in September than crap over the summer.

Good rule of thumb.

Never believe anything Michael Eisner says. Ever.

He said one day the Ducks would win the Stanley Cup.

Actually, I think he said Mighty Ducks. So yeah, don't listen to him!!

Sans the office not being around lately, I could care less. I can't believe grown people can't work out business deals without using 'time outs'. Just silly.

If over, no 24 until Sept? They didn't finish it in time before the strike, and it was suppose to start in January.
