Now that I think about it, I think it was a dome over Fish Creek Park. But technology has improved since then so the City should be do-able now.

I also liked their idea of an LRT extension to Mexico...

With the retractable roof we can open it on nice days. I would assume we'd have it open about 50-60 days per year.

• build giant domes over certain neighborhoods in order to keep the dinosaurs in, for example in Calgary West
• include the word “fun” in Acts of Provincial Legislatures, and Bylaws of municipalities
• use the greenhouses in Redcliff to grow cannabis
• rename the province “The People’s Republic of North Montana”, declare Medicine Hat the capital, because it has a silly name.
• merge with the Progressive Conservative party we don’t split the silly vote

That can be fixed by replacing fluoride in the water with Beano. It also solves our CO2 emissions challenge.

I would propose a high-speed retractable roof that is composed of 4 distinct segments that can independently open\close in just under 6 minutes. Very plausible, I think....

The city itself covers almost 800 square kilometres, so segments of roughly 200 square kilometres each, spanning the NW, NE, SE and SW, should do the trick.

Off the top of my head here, I'm thinking the city should budget just northward of 800 billion per segment -- bringing the entire job to somewhere around $3.5 trillion. That's certainly palatable, if not affordable. And it should only take 60-70 years to complete.

So yeah, all around, very awesome.
