I'm wondering if it's some sort of virus, I've had AVSystem try to install on my computer twice and keep getting popups. I'm also having the "add on" thing everytime I navigate to a new page.

I've ran combo fix and it found a bunch of malware.

This is also the first and only website I've been to today.

Just information....not complaining.

Sorry guys ... changed the daisy chain in ads today, didn't expect such a drastic change.

Should be better now. Let me know if not.

And to those that are angry? Well you'd think eight years of subscription free service would by you three hours of ad popups but I guess not.

No doubt! I for one welcome our old free with occasional popup overlord.

It was only 1 ad in there that was causing the problems.. there was a script in the "Increase your Sexual performance" ad that used the DHTML addon to open other Ads with a different referer address in it.. So someone had an ad, that they had paid to be displayed, that was also making them money by opening multiple other sites that were more then likely paying them..

Neat trick, and I'm sure it's against google's TOS...

It isn't something they pay for, but for some people it is something that their employers are unknowingly (and indirectly) paying for. They must be looking out for their employers best interests...

All clear at work. No issues with it, but it is a pretty secure and protected system (I'm actually not really sure if I'm even allowed to be surfing CP). Firefox at home, so hope it'll be ok

and further to this ...

we can never advocate a fraudulent click on ad and give me money campaign, but if you see something that interests you please click on it, improves my ability to place the site.
