Default Any way to play mobile phone games on computer?

I've downloaded a ton of games for my cellphone but there are no pictures so I don't know what the games look like. Is there any program or emulator that can play these java games on my PC before I install them on the phone?

Sure, the Sun Java Wireless toolkit has an emulator that should work. Stuff like sound and GPS and stuff won't work as those are usually handset specific though.

jar files that get downloaded to your handset is basically just a packaged up file with all sorts of files within. You can probably find a toolkit (like the one photon mentioned) to unpackage the jar file and play the games. Who knows, maybe some toolkits will allow you to play a packaged jar file.

The emulator in the WTK should play the jar files right off the bat I think.

I was mistaken. Yes, you are correct. The one you mentioned plays it off the bat.
