How much change in your pants?
Every time I do the laundry I ALWAYS find at least a couple loonies in the dryer, 'cause apparently I'm too lazy to go thru pants pockets before I throw 'em in the basket. However, tonight I actually found enough to buy a Baconator Combo at Wendy's, which is a new record: 3 loonies, 2 toonies, 3 quarters, a dime, and a nickel! Woo hoo! (Previous record I had a nice, clean $5 bill and a loonie for $6).
What's the most you ever found in the laundry? Ever found anything you didn't realize you had (like the lipstick I found - thankfully closed - a few years back) in there?

I generally stay on top of change in my pockets. Each night I empty my change, keep the loonies, toonies, and quarters then toss the small change into a Batman piggy bank (yes I am 8 years old). Every so often I roll it and get $8-10.
However change regularly falls out of my pockets in the car, I got like $15 for cleaning my car out last week due to loonies, toonies, and loose change that fell under the driver's seat.

I always keep my change in the one of cup holders in my vehicle. I also have a 35 ml film tube where i store my toonies and lonnies for the car wash.
Years ago i kept loose change around house. One year i rolled all the coins and had $200 worth

i did that on purpose last year. Was a nice suprise when I was broke and it was cold enough for my winter jacket for the first time this winter... was a $20 bill.
As far as change goes, I usually have about $5 in change at any given time.

Every day I empty all my change into a can in my bedroom. Have about 15 Cans right now, full of change. These are large coffee cans..so I assume there is hundreds of dollars...perhaps over a grand? My wife nags me to roll them and turn em in to the bank....but the cans are too heavy to move so Ill leave em for awhile.

If you've got loonies and toonies in there you're insane if your thinking $1000 on the top end. I'd bet you've got a bit more than that.
OK, maybe insane is a strong word, but it conveys how strongly I feel that you are a richer man than you think!

Wallet, lipsaul, tin of chewing tobacco, friend's passport, Kleenex, loose change (at most I think 5 bucks has ever been recovered at a single time) to name a few off the top of my head.
Passport was the worst because my friend called looking for it and it took awhile for us to remember it ended up in my jeans' back pocket, which were currently tumbling away in the washer. Thankfully it was still semi-legible but I had to break open a front-end loading washer mid-cycle and spill soapy water everywhere to get it back before it was too late..

My pockets get emptied pretty quickly. Toonies and quarters I will keep in my pocket. Loonies get set aside for laundry and the small stuff gets put into my texas micky Barcardi. I hope to fill that up so I can buy a Crown Royal soon

Usually I don't have too much. Right now I think I have $3 worth of American quarters I forgot to spend. When I was a college student I had a job as a delivery driver and used to put all the tip money change I'd make into a collection can. After the introduction of the toonie in 1996 I think I collected about $600 worth of change in like 5 months. It was enough to insure my car for about 6 months at that time which seemed like a nice bonus.

I was just going to say that. Who needs pants? I have a bad habit of leaving change in my pockets, then the change ends up on the chair that I throw my pants on when I take them off. I went through the chair last year and I ended with enough to get new pants.

That's what I thought the thread was going to be about too.
In my pockets right now I have $2.01. Cool. Most of the time I remember to empty my pockets so I often wind up with clean change unless I was doing my laundry in a daze.
I have a cup full of change. Most of it is left over from the summer when I worked as a server....amazing how much change you get from tips.
Hard to get rid of quarters when you can't go to Cowboys and buy a load of crappy beer anymore...

None. I don't keep change in my pants pockets. That's what the bottom of my purse is for... then when I clean it out, I chuck it all into my piggy bank til there is enough change to roll up. Bottom of my purse is usually good for a couple bucks in dimes and pennies.

I hate change. I only carry bills. Then when I get change back from a bill I take it home and then when I get enough/(it's worth doing so) to a bank for bills. But I do carry a toonie, quarter/dime (for a pay phone if my cell dies) just in case.

I make pretty decent money in the laundry. On a bad week, nothing. One a good week, about 40 bucks. Usually in a week I'll get about 20-25 out of the washer and dryer.
