Just remember that apathy is punishable by exile.

I go into this election pretty undecided. I'll watch a debate and decide that day.

I'll end up voting conservative as usual.. I fear the other parties besides the alliance will have poor judgement in dealing with the oilsands.. I'm all for improving things environmentally, but lets not run the economy into the ground..

I voted Liberal last time as a protest. I don't know what to do this time.

With the election being on March 3, I'll still be in Phoenix after following the Flames on the road. I don't even know if it's worth seeking out an early poll.

Either PC or Alliance... undecided yet - thought I voted PC in this poll. Then again, I moved six months ago and don't even know who my MLA is anymore. Guess I should look into that, heh.

what a terrible election. not one decent leader among any of the parties. i don't like the conservatives and i hate Stelmach, but Taft seems like a loon and none of the other parties have a hope of winning. it's no wonder i can't get myself motivated to register and vote

Well, there's no way I'll be voting PC. I disagree with them in many ways, and to top it off we've been getting phone calls from them almost daily pestering us about signing up for a membership.

Hold my nose and vote Conservative because I have no confidence in the other parties.

Ewww. I'm an easterner.

I have been checking Kevin Taft out on You Tube because I have no clue of who the guy is. So far, he seems like a pretty reasonable and well spoken guy... Am I missing something?

I actually agree, and not just because I'm voting liberal. He is a smart guy and seems nice enough. I read a book he wrote about 10 years ago called "Shredding the Public Interest" and it was very well written and informative. I just don't get why people think he is a poor leader, or whatever...seems pretty solid to me?

Well I'll probably end up voting PC, mainly because I just don't see any viable alternatives.

I had some hope for the Green party until checked their website...wow they appear to be WAY to the left of the NDP, which is IMO a shame. If the Greens rolled out a fiscally conservative, socially moderate green platform they'd probably attract some votes.

I think any government that rules for 40 years needs to be replaced. I also think any government that has a massive majority of seats is open to corruption. There is no doubt that corruption exists in the conservative party. Oberg admitted there were skeletons in the closets. A change in government would out all those skeletons and would clean up our government.

This was the case when the liberals help a vast majority under Cretian and he was in power for far too long. It is good to have a strong opposition, and it is good to change governments once in awhile. Alberta is certainly overdue for a change.

At risk of vote splitting the PCs to give the Liberals an advantage, I'm still voting for the Alliance. I'm tired of Steady Eddie's schtick but Taft will manage to accelerate Alberta's ride to debt land at about 3 times the speed. Basically we've got Liberal Eddie and Loonie Liberal Taft to choose from.

I think this is probably the biggest fear for the PC's. It's the Ross Perot problem all over again. I think there are enough disenfranchised rural voters who will go Alliance and split that vote - and with Calgary being all anti-Stelmach they could go Liberal.

Minority government anyone?

It's probably WAY better that way anyway - to me there is no clear leader amongst any of the parties that inspires independents or voters who are thinking its time for something different... Gosh - even those who only think 'Conservative' must be thinking - "but, it's Ed.... I can't.... "
