Hey Foo, Czure and Slopestyles were the +2 I had and the goalie too. So the list should look more like this now...

(6) FooFighter15 +5 (I doubt they will all show though)

(2) United +2 (Added one)

(3) SlopeyStyleRails +3 (Slope could be goalie if we don't find another one)

Total: 19 players, 2 goalies

When should we cap this? 20 guys is ten per side, so basically two lines. We could do 13 per side and have three forward lines and two defensive lines per team (26 guys total). That's probably a good maximum, we have the ice for two hours.

Just stick and skates would be required. Gloves are a good idea because that way you have something to drop when you want to fight.
I'm thinking no one else wants to make helmets required?

I don't think so, no slapshots, no hitting so I'd say the pads you wear are at your discretion. I may wear shin pads because I hate catching a puck off the shins and elbow pads just in case but I'll probably forgo the helmet for a toque because it could be a little chilly.

Weather report is -17 right now (long range) which hopefully starts looking better by the end of the week.

We've got Slopestyle and your friend signed up as the goalies. -17's not too bad for some shinny. Sucks for the guys on the bench though. We'll just have to take some breaks in the skate shack if it gets too cold.

Rye usually keeps me warm.

At least you wont have to bask in your sweat to the same extent that goalies do. At -22 I can only imagine what that is going to feel like...... Hope I'm sittin next to an coiler fan so he can smell me all game...

Yikes, hey I wonder if that locker room has showers? The guy said it could comfortable fit one team but never mentioned facilities. I'm pretty sure it has a toilet.

Final Update for Shinny Tomorrow

Okay guys, I know the weather is going to lick but this is still going to be really fun. I'm going to get a large and small propane heater tonite so that we can have the skate shack warm. So bring whatever you need to keep you warm for about two hours.

Time: As stated 11:00am to 1:00pm.

Location: Ramsay Street SE in Ramsay. Basically just get onto spiller road and take either 6th Street (if coming from the South) or Bellevue Ave (if coming from the North) to Ramsay Street. Can't miss the rink... Rink Picture

Stuff to bring: Pads you think you'll need and warm clothes.

Who's coming: So far it looks like around 20 guys coming. So feel free to bring a buddy if you want to as more bodies means more time to warm up.

Just a final note about liquor. If you bring any booze to the game please be prepared to leave with the empties. I don't think there is a problem with us having a couple beers in the skate shack while we warm up but I imagine the rules are the same as baseball diamonds. Keep it hidden and don't leave a mess.
