Maybe NY will finally get off Eli's back.

They will. As someone else said, he became a star tonight. Until you win a SB they can be on you, but he won as a monumental underdog and they can't be on him like they were before. He's a Superbowl Champion and MVP. Not too many QB's in the league right now can say that. Was he amazing? No he wasn't, the Giants defense was. But he won the game for them on the last drive and that was clutch.

Knowing New York, his status will now become second only to Jesus.

Should buy him at least a 5 year free pass though.

I used to think Eli had a long way to go, but after this game. He's gotten my respect. But still has a lot to become elite.
Archie has some magic in his gene.

Wow! That was one hellava football game. Talk about a nail biter and all!
The Giants defence was absolutely HUGE in the game.
Brady is still probably wondering what the hell went wrong. He was constantly rushed and when guys were open he rushed his passes. Talk about a humbling experience. He'll be having nightmares about the Giants defence for a looooong time.
Eli Manning..... What can you say about the kid? Unbelievable under pressure, especially when he completed that pass when i thought the Pats defence had him for a loss and possibly the game. Well done!
Congrats to the Giants on a well earned Superbowl.
Back to back Mannings.

3 sacks....including one when it mattered most.

Good stuff compared to what was expected by most.
I still think that a D lineman should of been MVP though...without any one of them this game was a Patriot win.
Good to see the NFC get one again...way too much about how the AFC was completely and utterly dominant and how there might of been 5 AFC teams better than the best NFC team. Too much parity in the league for that nonsense.
