Lost Season 4 Thread ** Spoiler Warning **
Figured although I still haven't watched all of Season 3 yet, I'd put up a reminder that season 4 starts tonight.
I only have 90 minutes of season 3 left to go; hopefully I'll have it done in time for tonight!

Best show on TV by a freaking Mile. 24 and Heroes are off my hype board permanently. Although 24 looks quite good this season. But Heroes? Blehhh

The last couple seasons Lost really dragged things out. I'm hoping now that they have a set run they can pace the show better.

Heroes fell off because they were trying to re-introduce characters to new viewers. There was so much hype about the show all summer, people who slept on it were getting excited for Season 2. It's a shame - The show had so much promise. I watch it, but I don't run to see it.

Season 3 got pretty decent near the end. There was some intrigue re-introduced at least.
Sadly, I wait until its finsihed to get the series on DVD so I can watch it all in a row.

Same here. As enlightening as Season 3 was, I definitely had a hard time watching it.
Though, there was some blogger who got to watch Season 4 ahead of the critics and everybody, and he claims that Season 4 is going to be the best one yet.
Suppose we'll see! I'm excited for it.

They completed 8 of 16 episodes before "The Strike". According to the producers, Season 4 has a definite beginning, middle, and end, however, it opened a lot of ideas that they intended to be resolved in the latter half of the season (ie the eight episodes that were not completed).

There are 8 filmed episodes that will go before they run out. Apparently the "cliffhanger" for the 8th episode is similar to the one from season 3a....so nothing major.

This is the first non-sports show that I've been anticipating in a loooong time.

Funny, I was feeling kind of pissed about silly little things this morning...then remembered that Lost was on tonight, and so had something good to look forward to at the end of the day! Can't wait!

Is it a 2 hour premiere or is the first hour just a recap of season 3?

According to my cable box, the first hour is a clip show from past seasons, and the premiere is one hour long.

Agree completely. Heroes just tries too hard and has too many plot holes to keep me interested.
When does 24 start?
Does anyone else kind of feeling like skipping Lost this season until they play the rest of it? The cliffhanger is going to be very unfulfilling.

For those watching on the East Coast feed, let's keep the spoilers out of the thread until after 11pm MST.
After that I'll re-title the thread.
