CBS picks up Canadian drama

CBC should let them air "The Border", give them a wake up call to what kind of idiots Canadians think they have working at Homeland Security.

I watch Corner Gas every night at 9 - I don't know how the ratings do down here but I love the show

The best canadian show ever made was the Edison Twins. Can't believe the first time I saw this was in Hong Kong and it was dubbed in chinese. hehe

It's already airing on WGN in the States.
I don't know how well it's doing, but I've read a few reviews from American viewers, and it seems to be well received.

I think Corner Gas might play well in wider release in the States. Sell it as Seinfeld in the sticks - the best episodes of Corner Gas fit that description IMO.

I thought Corner Gas was already picked up by some network in the States. I remember someone mentioning that is a thread sometime last year.

I have seen ads in Australia for Corner Gas on DVD, I don't think it plays on regular 'cable' here though. I have also seen Trailer Park Boys here on DVD. And on Foxtel I think it is possible to view Kenny vs. Spenny and Degrassi: The Next Generation and who knows what else.
Best Canadian show ever was the Buckshot Show (in particular the episode featuring me), followed closely by Kingo Blackout Bingo hosted by Don Wood.

I enjoy Corner Gas, my Father in Law from Lethbridge bought me the first season DVD. I havent been watching much on WGN, due to not wanting to get out of sequence.
Being from a small town in northeastern Montana 50 miles below Saskatchewan, its pretty easy for me to "get it." Folks from larger metro areas, I'm not so sure.
There are also tons of childrens and Discovery Channel type programs we inherit from Canada.
