I just remember seeing something on the news a couple months ago, where some of these guys had a protest in Calgary and normal citizens all stood up to them. It was nice too see.

I was there and I want everyone to realize something. Doing something well means a lot. Even if its something wrong.
Those normal citizens you speak of were youngsters too for the most part, and they spoke out about what they believed was right. But they were not organized enough.
That led to these people who were advocating against blatant racist propaganda being taken away by the police and after a while the racists (Aryan Guard) were left outnumbering the 'normal citizens' to freely preach their particular brand of hate.
The racists were organized and well-educated enough to operate within their rights and the law with discipline, and thus ended up maintaining their area to demonstrate, while the original crowd, advocating tolerance was escorted to the local lockup.
If racism itself doesnt scare you, then the fact that a group of moderately educated, unemployed, 'useless' youths who didnt get what they wanted for christmas ended up stealing an anti-racism protest from educated, employed, 'productive members of society' who initiated a rally against hatred and ended up with a perfect forum for their message of hate.
All the right people were watching and they made all the right moves.
Thats scary.
Especially considering that the evidence points to someone very intelligent who is pulling the strings.

What I have bolded is completely incorrect. The rest I agree with whole-heartedly, except for the 'feeling sorry for them' part. I'm not going to advocate standing around pitying them. There's no use.
It should bother you.
They have more power than you'd like to believe. Underestimating that is how they got it in the first place.

Their right to free speech and to congregate is protected, but words shouldn't hurt anyone anymore.

Words shouldnt hurt anyone anymore. They still do, but thems the breaks.
These groups have found that using words to hurt people isnt effective anymore. They now use words to try and convince people that their views are right, and no matter how perverted these views are, there are people that will believe them unless the opposite view is presented just as equally, powerfully and convincingly.

I broke this up and bolded it because it is remarkably accurate and true.
Forget them. Their minds are made up and are unlikely to be changed, especially considering their 'support group.'
Concentrate on their target market. The audience. They're the ones who are in need of your input, empathy and desire to help.
