Sign me up. I can make either Jan. 24 or 31.
Was the last statement by Troutman the final word? If it was, I can go on Jan. 31 at 7 PM.

Hey guys, can't make Tuesday or Thursday nights, so I am out this month.
The Haskaybe SoB feels it is excellent to schedule all evening MBA classes on the same nights that a majority of Flames games fall on.

I should be able to juggle my schedule, but again if its the three of us, then its more getting together for drinks then anything else.
I really want this to work because I'm a huge proponent of networking and getting business ideas out there.
It'd be a real shame if this fell apart.

Hey,
So I just stumbled upon this power ring a couple of days ago and thought I’d throw my hat in to the foray. [I just noticed that this was an invite only ordeal and after looking at half of the pages I did not notice any web developers/graphic designers. If this niche has been filled I completly understand.]
Anyways, my name is Connor Turner and I run a small web design studio called Armadillo Studios Inc. We build Corporate Web Sites, Corporate Blogs and do a slew of Corporate Branding. We just celebrated our one year anniversary and are looking for some new contacts/clients.
Back on topic, if you guys think you need some web design input I would be very, very interested in the group. I would also be available for Thursday evening.

Reason: Realized this is an invite only group.

That's a large portion of what my company does but meh, the more the merrier.
I can likely make it too.

^ I think that this group is best with one representative from each industry...but that is just my thought.

Someone phone the Wildwood and have them build a cage, the two of them can then fight for our amusement and love.
The winner has to then cut a glass of milk into quarters to be admitted into the secret society.

That is definitely a great solution! If we could have a "conflict" like this every month I bet that we would have no problem with turnout!!

I didn't realize there was a first come first served membership here. I sell land investments. Does that step on anyone's turf? Am I still invited?

Seriously I don't see what the big deal is, I'd show up for a beer just to meet up with some fellow CPers and talk some hockey for a couple hours if it weren't for this "one per industry rule"...what happens when you guys are being so exclusive is now you can never plan a meetup that works because half the people who had first dibs in the first page are always busy, or don't even hang around CP anymore let alone showing up at these meets.
I think this group should just be a regular CP social meetup network instead of being such a rah rah movers & shakers all business thing with a gazillion rules made up by a guy who interprets & manipulates rules for a living. (no offence troutman, just pullin' your tail ) If CPers wants to exchange a couple business cards at these meets so be it, just let the business component happen natually after a couple drinks and some small talk, and everyone can go home happy.
Just my $0.02

A good idea, if we had more than 4 people turn out for a meeting. Until then, the more the merrier.
