CP posters expressed their feelings on Lululemon not that long ago here: http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=50568

Nothing wrong with a guy in Lulu pants. We can't all wear beat up Levis and Molsen T-shirts.
don't be ashamed if you like fashion or clothes that fit you. It does not make you gay.
If that's the case I'll be sure to bust out my assless chaps at the next CP function.

This thread rules.
Especially the branch off about tear-aways.
Because nothing says "class" like removing your pants but keeping your shoes on.
Really the only people who can get use out of something like that are Basketball players and Porn Stars.

Actually, I thought about that but couldn't find any reason why it would be more convenient than just droppingyour jeans and having a go.

I missed the white part. Luckily I went with a very nondescript shade of black.

All the time. Whenever I warm up for volleyball, keep the pants on, but already have my court shoes on. Game time, rip 'em off. And as mentioned before, they're handy after with the volleyballl groupies.

I wouldn't really consider lululemon fashion. Infact I would say beat up levis are more fasionable then anything lululemon depending on the cut of jean you have.

Exactly. Lululemon on dudes is about as fashionable as mullets on chicks. I'd imagine it's a popular look in Edmonton.

I'm sure he was impressed when you ripped your pants off in one fluid motion.

^^^^ Hey-ooooo

I love how the OP completely ditched this thread.

I actually do yoga, and even I wouldn't respect a guy who shows up to yoga in lululemons.

I think Lululemon looks great on women - that being said - some women. Some women should not be wearing it - by some women I mean most. THose who do look good in them, look great.

I also think lululemon for men is just a little too metrosexual. I also don't believe in metrosexual males. I think metrosexual really means a little bit homosexual and being a little bit homosexual means you are a homosexual, or at the very least bisexual, which really means you still like men which still points to homosexual. I have lots of gay friends who love lululemon but I just don't think straight men should wear them at all.

In the words of the late great Joe Sports "those are my thought, not yours"

The stuff is so small. I went into the store with my wife and a friend around Xmas so we could pick up a gift card and my friend (who is about 5'11 and 175 lbs., pretty average sized guy) didn't fit into an XL jacket. I can't imagine how small and skinny a guy would have to be to fit into a medium.

I had a similar experience last year. I go to see if there is anything for my wife for Xmas and it's all looking pretty tiny. I ask, "what size is your large?" to which I'm told, "size 3". I understand that the average woman is size 12. Congrats to those of you whose wife or gf is size 3.

On a side note, when I was at west edmonton mall a few years ago I saw Ray Emery and Chris Phillips walk out of lululemon together. Never thought of the two the same way again.

Do you respect yourself for doing yoga? homo!
Seriously, sorry to single you out in this thread, but this thread is hilarious.

Track pants and lululemon pants arent meant to be worn out in public, they are for sporting events that you participate in, and the gym only. Girls of course look good in them, and I don't mind seeing them wearing them out in public.
Really though, guys lululemon pants are no different looking than any other gym pant. If there wasnt the logo on them, no one would know they are lululemon.

UNFIT FOR PURPOSE!

I'm guilty of that. I almost always ski in jeans. Mainly because I never fall. Now with snowboarding, I used to wear the HH pants I got working in the arctic. Mainly because I fall alot. And yes, they were orange with reflective striping.

Oh, I'd better admit to one more thing, one day, on my way out the door to go skiing, I spilled my travel mug all over my jacket, so I had to use my crappy old leather.

As for Lululemon, I hadn't even heard of it until a few months ago (probably on CP). After that, I noticed that my brother wears those when he goes to the gym. He didn't look gay before I found out that so many people think dudes in lululemon are gay, and he doesn't look gay now. They're gym clothes. Who really cares? How come everyone dissing dudes in lululemon are also dudes... Calling other dudes gay... YOU'RE the ones scoping other dudes at the gym.
