I like to store the satellite remote in the fridge, myself.

Maybe a good time to mention that it is a good idea to make photocopy of all your wallet contents so that if it is lost you have all the info. Lame post but I am willing to bet Ro wishes he had done it.

get in your Dolorian and go back three days ago and watch yourself to find out where you put it. Get a slurpee, time travel always makes me thirsty.

If this is your wallet, this condom has clearly been in here for years....
Did you check your left pocket? I always keep mine in the right, so I never think to look in the left one?
Seriously though, good luck finding it man. But just remember, when you cancel and replace all your cards and ID's, and buy a new wallet. That is when you will find the old one

Given Ro's silence since his OP, I'm starting to think he didn't lose his wallet at all. He just wants to see how many stupid ways we've all lost ours.

Was it kind of leathery tasting, but with a subtle hint of mesquite and strawberry? Would it have, perhaps, gone well with an Australian red - something dry but not too dry? Did it have the soft, tender flesh that can only be obtained by years of aging in the back pocket?
If so, sorry - but it *was* delicious.

I've checked back and looked at this thread a bunch of times- partly for advice on where to continue looking, and also just to read some of the responses that I knew would come after I decided to post this.
But indeed, the wallet is lost, and remains lost. I have checked some places I hadn't thought of because of this thread (fridge, behind dresser) and I'm about to check under the car seats again. I have a decent enough memory, and the last time I remember having it was in my apartment. So I'm still clinging to the notion that it's just been bumped off a countertop or something and remains in here. Somewhere.
And I've suspended my credit cards, so there's no worries there- but I did my OG birth certificate in there (travelling over holidays) and some other stuff that I didn't have copies of (good idea whoever suggested that). So all is not well, especially if it's gone for good.
At least this thread is keeping me in good spirits when it comes to the search and rescue mission. If I find it, I'll post where it was.

In that case I apologize for doubting you. I've never terminally lost my wallet, but my wife has (while we were on vacation no less) and it sucks. I hope you find it. Have you checked all your cupboards yet? And I hope you haven't forgotten the obvious spots like under the sofa cushions or in the garbage. You wouldn't believe how often we've found stuff in the garbage.

Now, now - it's only January. I've got 11 more months to top that, and it's always possible someone else could try to get in on the action, although I don't like their chances...

I lost mine earlier in the year at the Den. Journey came on and I had the urge to drop my pants. I guess wallets can fall out when said pants are dropped but to make a long story short after a weeks worth of asking security etc. I went and talked to the bartender and I guess one of the managers had put it on his desk... Man was I happy when he handed it over.
Good luck with the hunt Ro...
