Oh man. That'd probably be the most profound record in all of sports for a looooooong time.
And I think that there is no chance for NYG. The Pats want this one more than they wanted the other three. I think.

I mean look at the scores involving New England. This revenge plan has been going on for nigh 35 years.

If you post the records of those teams the Dolphins defeated in 1972. You will see that the Dolphins also had the easiest schedule in NFL history. A combined winning percentage in the mid .300's.

Awesome. Couldn't agree more.
As for the game, it'll be a dandy. I wanted the Packers to make it, but had a feeling the Giants would be tough to beat.
Hot streak ends on February 3rd though. GO PATS!

dream game for networks! One team is undefeated and the other team probably own one of the largest TV audeince in the NFL. It was against the Patriots game close to the end of the season that gave the Giants a boost. That was when they almost beat the Patriots. Before that game, the Giants were brutal and Manning was awful. I really hope this is going to be an exciting game. I still have to pick the Patriots though as I want them to win all 19 games in a season.

I find it very ironic that the Giants get a second chance to spoil the Patriots perfect season.
The Giants also have a 10 game road winning streak. If the Giants hold on to the ball they will give the Patriots all they can handle. One other thing, after seeing what Eli Manning did in the cold weather yesterday, I would not underestimate the guy.

All I hear is blah blah blah. Do you want to start this argument. There is no way its a better feat than the 72 dolphins it will be the exact same.
Look at this way the Dolphins never cheated to win. Spygate Bill.
You can go on forever as to who is better its a great achievement by both teams.

People hate the pats because there arrogant, alot of there fans are arrogant too, and way too cocky.
People want to see them lose.
People hated the 72 dolphins because they walked around with a swager. When ever a team is dominate you either love them, jump on the bandwagon like 75% of the patsie fans in Calgary, or you hate them.

However as weird as this sounds, I think this helps the Patriots because if they win people will say the Patriots won while Brady was injured and if they lose people will say they lost because Brady was hurt. It will light a fire to Brady's teammates to see him playing while he is hurt and in my opinion it puts even more pressure on the Giants.

Pats all the way baby!!
Brady with a cast doesnt matter anyways...he doesnt do more than drop back and pass...his O'line will give him all day to pick the Giants apart.
I find all of the hate for the Pats to be...amusing...for years/decades we were the patsies...everyones fave stomping team. Now that the shoe is on the other foot its all about how arrogant the Pats are? Blow it out your arse! The Pats will remain dominant for many years.
Spygate has proven to be nothing more than a whole bunch of hoopla...nada...nitsch...BS. Anyone who hangs on to that is pulling at strings. The Pats are the most dominant team...ever....and that includes the rotting corpse once called the Dolphins.

Lame. There is no argument. What the Pats are doing is definitely more impressive - they just have to finish the job.
Spygate? I'll raise you a salary cap, and a difficult schedule.
Every team cheats - the Pats got caught. Spygate did not give the Pats an edge in any way in 2007, and they were harshly punished.

Bingo, you can't tell me that every other team in the NFL doesn't have someone in the stands with binoculars and a blackberry.
Its a big deal because the Pats are such a dominant team. I'm pretty sure that the NHL doesn't want to have the headlines
" Dolphin's caught stealing signals"
"It didn't help" said one source
"They were cheating and they still only won a game, thats pathetic" a NFL GM was quoted
"They still sh#tty" Cleveland Indians maintenance crew
"Arrgh brrrg bana bana" Stortini was quoted as saying.

NS. It was week one. Not like three quarters or half their wins came from "cheating". One game. And for you to expect me to believe that other teams aren't doing things very similar is ######ed. Why do you think they're covering their mouths when they talk? Who was the 1st team to have lip readers in the crowd? What about those dorks with the satellite dishes that can pick up sound? Total crap. The Patriot haters need to stop their whining and admit that the Pats are one game away from being the greatest team ever.
Now, does it bother any other pats fans taht Brady is in NY? Maybe he should chill somewhere else for teh next couple of weeks... I hear Boston is nice this time of year. Just stay out of NY and Miami, please.

I could care less. Dolphins had a great acomplishment, but you can't deny the fact that it was the easiest schedule in NFL history. Patriots are 18-0, great acomplishment as well. I cheered for the opponent in every one of their games. The whole Spygate thing really irritated me. Espeacilly the way the NFL was so quick to "move on".

I think the Pats record is more impressive than the Dolphins record. Now, don't get me wrong, both are great accompishments, but in a salary cap era for a team to go 18-0 is pretty damn impressive.
Spygate was a fully over blown issue....every team does it and the only reason the Pats got caught was becuase Mangini was trying to make a name for himself, but karma sure bit him in the ass.
Now this is coming from a Vikings fan...not a Pats fan, or a Colts fan or a Chargers fan, so no real AFC bias.
