NFL championship Sunday....
New thread for the 2 games this weekend.
LETS GET IT ON!!!!
Packers/Giants playing in what should be the 3rd coldest game in NFL history with a windchill of -27F at kickoff.
Packers win by 9.
Pats/Chargers in Foxboro with a perfect season on the line again.
Pats by 17.

The Farm Flames drop the puck at 5:05 CST, so I will miss at least the first half of the Packers game(scheduled for a 5:42 CST kick off), and probably part of the third quarter. I'll be wearing my Packers throwback jersey to the game though It's supposed to be -13F with the wind chill at kick off, the coldest game at Lambeau since the Ice Bowl.

My predictions is Packer beat the giants by 6 and the pats fall in O.T. by three to the chargers

Both teams cover the spread, then NE wins by 24 in the desert.

Pats by 14+ and Pack by 3. Then the Pats roll on to a 14+ pt Super Bowl win to cap off the dream season.

Appropriate teams to play in a cold game. Although the evil side of me would have preferred to see Green Bay vs Tampa Bay or some warm climate team just to hear all the complaining.
One of the few things I like about the NFL is how homefield advantage is significant in the playoffs.

Go Pack! The Packers should have the edge in this one but one thing that concerns me is the really cold regular season game Green Bay played in Chicago, they laid a massive egg. Hopefully they learn from that (and it wasn't exactly balmy in Green Bay last weekend either and they played well).
Would really like to see the Chargers upset the Patriots. It's getting really old seeing the Pats win all the time - historic season or no historic season. Can't see the Chargers winning though - they're top 3 guys on O are dinged up while the Pats go in with no injuries.

It wasnt the cold...it was the wind and a punter who had 2 blocked, fumbled one and kicked one 8 yards.

Don't like this start for the Pats O, but the Defense is making big plays....how great was it to see Grandpa Seau take the mouth down to end a drive?
Go Packers and Pats!

Red zone d for the Pats looking pretty good. They hold the Chargers to another field goal.

If I'm the Chargers, I'm thinking of pulling pegleg and putting in Volek. He's moving like a pregnant yak back there.

Unbelievably, the Chargers are staying close...so far. Rivers is awful at times and I an guessing that Turner is looking Volek's way sometime soon. Chargers D has played decent but man that short passing game of the Pats is almost impossible to stop.

Ouch, another pick by SD killing a NE drive, this one just got even more interesting.

Really lazy throw by Brady. Nice of Cromartie to run it out of the end zone like an idiot though. Moron.
