Haha I bet but we'll see why the puck always skips over the stick when the Flames play there.

Playing at the Dome is pretty cool... The only thing is, they don't turn on the AC and you're slowed from the buckets of sweat pouring from your body. If someone has an in... WORK IT OUT!!!

Hey Foofighter, you should start up a roster. I'm in and play forward or d, both crappily.

Max Bell would be perfect!
We've got a place. Everyone who is in, say you're in and I'll put your name up on the front page.

I'd love to play..
I've played at the dome and the ice not what I would have expected , it was kinda "soft" for lack of a better word. The ice seemed really small, like players were on top of you way faster then normal, I think it was because the building was so big around you. The boards are crazy bouncy though, like you shoot a puck at them and it seems to come back at you just as fast.. I wish they would turn on all the big lights at the dome, but for ice rentals they turn on some flood lights around the second level they don't have on during games, so it doesn't feel like it does when you are actually at a flames game.
Coral has kind of a big league feel to it and hella cheaper then the dome. The Ice is pretty terrible, and its hot and quiet. Imagin putting on all your equipment and playing in your living room.. It's a neat place to play cause you know all the greats who played on that ice, and changed in the dressing rooms.
Max bell is a good place to play. So is Father David Bauer..

Seriously play at Ramsay, not because I live there It is central! I'm assuming we need full equipment for this?? If not I'm down.

I'd say everything waist down is required, plus helment, upper body can be optional.
Wont be contact, or full on slapshots.

Ouch, nothing is available at any of the city arena's for that day unless we want to play 6am -7am. So that cancels out these ones...
City Facilities Unavailable:
Ernie Starr
Father David Bauer/Norma Bush
Frank McCool
Max Bell 1 & 2
Murray Copot
Optimist/George Blundun
Rose Kohn/Jimmie Condon
Shouldice
StewHendry/HYenry Viney
Stu Peppard
Ed Whalen & Joe Kryzcka
Village Square 1 & 2
I did get Facility Bookings to send me a list of all the non-city facilities in and around Calgary so I will call them until I find something. I'll start central and work my way out.
Non-City Facilities that are unavailable:
The Corral
The Saddledome may be available but it costs $710/hr for a season ticket holder and that comes with 20 Hitmen tickets. Might be something to look at for another time.
Acaria Rec. Complex
Mount Pleasant
Centennial Twin

Max Bell is booked, so he is looking into every other arena in the city.

Minimum: shins, cup and elbow pads.
I play with full equipment all the time, just so I can get better at moving with the gear.

Holy crap, not looking good for ice time. If we can't get one we might have to look at taking over an outdoor rink and just playing pick-up. I'll definitely keep trying though.
