Default Aeroplan/Avion POINTS

SO I have become kind of an Aeroplan points junky over the past year. I look to obtain points whenever I can. Last year I signed up for the Aerogold cibc visa card and that gave me 15,000 i think. I still have that card.

A few months ago I signed up for the American Express Aerogold and that gave me 10,000 points. I canceled that one as soon as the points were put into my account. I was also refunded $90 or the $120 fee.

The newest thing I did was get the RBC Avion card which gave me 15,000 points I think.

Now I ask you this, are there any more decent ways to get some points without much hassle? I am always looking to get more!!!

Thanks!

actually use your Avion points card and renew at the end of one year. We have done some calculating at work and it's astonishing how much LESS spending you have to do with Avion points over aeroplan and airmiles to get the same rewards

If you use your CIBC Aerogold, you get a mile for every dollar spent. If you buy gas at Esso, you can double dip.

hmm looks as though with the aeroplan you can get some pretty good deals. I Use RBC all the time so Avion works well for me but that doesn't mean I don't still have the aeroplan and airmiles cards

It also looks as though with aeroplan you HAVE to fly with Air Canada or an affiliate where as Avion doesn't have any restrictions
