yeah we just let them fall down the list.. It's nice to keep them around as they can be searched.. so if someone's looking for a comparable for an item they want to sell they can see what others have sold for, or if you want to establish your trustworthiness to someone new then you can point out the sale threads you've done; that sort of thing.
Plus locking every done thread would just take more work
