Default sound problems on PC

hey
Looking for some pointers .
I still have sound on my PC but it isnt clear any more.Very weird actually
So far I eliminated speakers . Would that be a sound card or something else
Please help

we can't help you without more details. What do you mean by "not clear"?

Muffled? Static? Loss of Stereo? Strange tones or noise? Do you have another sound port in your computer? Try that one, try some headphones.

For sure more details would help. First thing I would do is uninstall then reinstall the sound drivers.
