This is the one I found particularily interesting. Note the three gentlemen trying to bully the cameraman, and doing their best to try and find his "weakness" so they can undoubtedly exploit it. It's no secret that they use certain techniques like that to destroy your confidence and self impressions to make it easier for them to, in a word, brainwash you.

What a hilarious video. Who would be "intimidated" by those guys?

To be fair, I kind of find the sheer zealotism of their demeanour a little bit intimidating. Although, I'd probably have a hard time keeping a straight face infront of those three if I were in the cameraman's shoes. Particularily if I had to respond to the short, curly-haired gentleman's attempts to get all-up-in-my-face.

"What're you afraid of?"

Certainly not you, Mr. Baggins. Don't get so enturbulated.

What a great word. It makes dictionary.com but not the OED. I think with a little organization and some use we can change that.

Will Smith is one too, he was handing out personality test cards to crew members of Hancock.

Quite a few big-named celebrities are, actually. I think I remember hearing that Tom Hanks, John Travolta and Val Kilmer are. I also remember hearing that Tom Cruise won't work with anyone on a film that doesn't submit to Scientology. Scary in theory. Even scarier if true.

Furthermore, I remember reading some drama over the casting of Maggie Gyllenhaal instead of Katie Holmes in The Dark Knight because Tom Cruise forbode her from being in it. Not sure if that was related to Scientology or not, but probably.

I wonder if they paid royalties for ripping off the Mission Impossible theme for that indoctrination video.

LOL. The cheesy music even suggests the Mission Impossible theme.

What is the source of this video? Is it a Scientology produced video? I find that hard to believe. All that is shows is Tom being a lunatic. It would hardly spur anyone to hand over their cash.

The logo on the bottom right hand corner of the video is the official seal of the Church of Scientology. I would hazard to guess that this was a video captured from some kind of awards or ceremony show for Scientologists judging from the last few seconds of it.

Of course, if they gave the numbers for Xenu and the rest of the universe it would be in the trillions.

If you remained the calmest person in the room, questioning everything they said with a straight face and genuine curiosity, you'd probably drive any zealot into a crazy berserker frenzy if you had enough time.

Use the phrase " . . . "but why?" a lot. Repeatedly.

That link you provided earlier has a pretty long list. It's mostly a B-List who's-who.

Make me wonder what it is that attracts all these celebrities, and wonder how many regular people are actually involved in this stuff. Has anyone out there actually ever met a Scientologist? Have you met anyone who has met a Scientologist?

They sure get a lot of play, but it seems to be a religion focussed mainly on Hollywood kooks and nitwits.

Several years ago, Tom Cruise did help a bag lady out apparently. I read the story in the newspaper sometime around 1994.

She was hit by a car somewhere in LA and no one was stopping to help her. Tom Cruise not only brought her to the hospital, but he supposedly paid her medical bills. I'm not sure if this story on the internet anywhere.
