First time home buyer here so Ive got some basic questions...

How long does the mortgage pre-approval and approval process take?

If I call a mortgage broker on Monday, how long will it take to get a pre-approval? And then how long will it take to get the final approval?

Pre aproval usually takes a week if I recall from mine

It's usually faster than a week. I send clients to a couple of brokers and they usually get it done faster than that.

Yeah the mortgage broker that I refer to can get you approved faster. If you want someone PM me and I will send the info to you. (If you're in Calgary or around it!)
