Default C-Train disruption (old bumped thread)

Looks like somebody got hit on the 6th Street platform. As a result, all downtown trains are stopped.

it was at 8th street where the girl pushed the guy from edmonton earlier this year right?

Nope. It was on the 6th street (East bound) station.

I just saw the Calgary Police Accident Reconstruction Unit drive away. That could mean good news for the after work commute.

What do they need to reconstruct?

Ctrain > Man.

Investigation over.

We just went down to check it out and there were about 900 cops all standing around.

A couple of my co-workers who happened upon the accident (didn't go looking on purpose) get the feeling that it was tragic based on some of the comments from lookers-on.

Must be just on the tracks or very hard to see. I was right across the street from it and couldn't see any blood.

I walked by right after it happened (just before 2) and didnt see a body, I wonder if whoever is/was still alive.

CITYBEAT - CITY OF CALGARY PRESS RELEASE
-----------------------------------------------------------------

This afternoon at approximately 1:45pm The City of Calgary
Emergency Medical Services, along with the Calgary Police and
Fire Departments, attended to reports of a collision
involving a pedestrian and a C-Train in the 600 block of 7
avenue SW.
On arrival Paramedics provided aggressive Advanced Life
Support care to a 17 year old female patient who had
sustained head, chest, and pelvis injuries as a result of the
collision. She was transported to Foothills Hospital in
serious, potentially life threatening condition.
The circumstances surrounding this incident are under
investigation.
