Everything looks scripted.

I liked it. Its good viewing for the entire family. My eight year old daughter really liked it. Said she wants to be an American Gladiator now. Maybe it will help to motivate her to eat better.

HAHAHAHA nicely done.

Personally I thought wolf was the only unique Gladiator on there.
I only watched the second half myself as I was watching the east feed.
Didn't see crush.

Was I the only one that thought the new one where the giant nerf gun sucked? A slingshot at the back? Weak

I thought that sucked as well? What are the odds of actually hitting the target without hours of practice first?

They played "Assault" last night. The guns were in full effect.

Everyone who is saying that the old was way better......What exactly was different?? It looked pretty similar to me. I'm sure there was little things here and there, but to bitch about something small is just nit-picking. The show was terrible before and its still terrible now, and its so much fun to watch.

I agree with most people here, I loved it. Mindless action and entertainment.

Thought Titan (I think that was his name, big blond guy) looked a little like offspring of Seigfried and Roy.

I laughed pretty hard throughout. Cheesy as the original and just as enjoyable. Chalk it up under "guilty pleasures".

I liked the new game (I think it was called Hit and Run) where the competitors had to cross the flimsy bridge while the gladiators hurled the 100 lb. sacks at them. The one NY firefighter was awesome at it.

"Let me tell you something brother. I have all the love and respect for my gladiators as they pound on those pencil neck geek contestants.

The winner last night, the Hulkster took him out back and taught him the meaning of respect Broooother.

What are the ratings going to do when Hulk Hogan goes wild on you? Brother"

"oh brother "

Yeah, his top (I don't think you can call it a shirt?) looked pretty gay. I mean, who wears a halter top that starts at the top of the abs and ends just above the nipples? Pretty weird. Unless they are trying to appeal more to the same sex crowd. Not there is anything wrong with that.

Bring back Wesley "Two Scoops" Berry!

Anyone remember this car-jumping contestant from the old episodes? He dominated and "gave 110%" during every challenge.

I wasn't expecting alot from this show, and was fully rewarded with the over the top acting and ridiculous games. It was great!

Did that chick do her ACL before she was replaced btw?
