Default Need an electrician for a cash job

Looking at getting an opinion/price quote, then the actual work, on the following:

- rewiring 1955 era wiring in upstairs of house
- upgrading breaker panel
- installing 220 and 120v outlets to garage
- general electrical/wiring inspection

I've already searched, and some of the other companies mentioned aren't taking work right now.

Willing to be flexible with timing and duration if need be.

Please PM me if you or anyone you know are interested...

Thanks!

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

Try macgurl's fiancee, although this might be more than he wants to take on.

With how much you want done I think it needs to be done under a permit.

if you fly me out to Calgary and get me tickets to a game I'll do it for free.

Only one question . . . what's a breaker panel?

I would almost double that...

If it a reno job there is a lot more involved than simple rough in.

If the walls are open and everything is accessible then it may be OK.

The incoming service may need to be upgraded as well.

It may get even more complicated in that if there is a new panel then the city will definitely want to inspect it.

Enmax will need to certify the work before they restore power.

Possibly the new panel can be installed and then simply transfer the incoming supply to it.

I would estimate at least 1000 for the garage alone.....

I'm sure Rico knows....Its not a small job.

Good Luck.

Not to be a Beatch but of all the jobs to not do a cash job on this is it. Watch 1 episode on Holmes on Homes for proof. A cheap plumbing job may make your carpet wet. A bad electrician job with no inspection burns your house down. Just sayin'.
