since you won't be able to chat much at the comedy, you may want to spend some time chatting. there must be some cafe or something where you can get some tiramasu or a dessert of some kind...and it should be quiet enough to chat there.
besides that, you will want to rehash the funny jokes and that is a good neutral spot for that.

I take my date's to The Chocolate Bar on 14 st & 17 ave after dinner/movie... great place to sit and talk. Plus chocolate can put chicks in the mood

You'll be relatively close to the cheesecake cafe so you could take her there. You could also take her for a nice drive, park somewhere with a nice view and try to plow her there. If that doesn't work, I like the hookers and blow idea.

I think your best bet is to find something along 17th Ave or Mission, as there are lots of nice restaurant lounges in the area as well as lots of pubs and bars.
Suggestions:
Brava Bistro
Living Room
Earls (on 4th Street)
Joyce on 4th (a pub, but usually not loud unless there is music).

It's a dessert place, mostly really expensive cake and chocolates along with coffee... though I do believe they sell beer... not sure though.

wow... you guys are impatient.. So we did the Yuk Yuk then, pretty funny, but I have a better laughs when i've gone there. Then went to Mountain view bowling.. where some how she beat me at bowling, so had no game in the department that night. after then we went for a some drinks and then a took her home.. all in all it was a really good date. most likely there will be another date.... oh ya!
