*Groan* Yes, I know another movie thread.
I'm just looking to rent something really funny tonight. Like gut-splitting funny. I thought I'd ask for recommendations on this board, because everytime I see a topic on movies on CP it usually ends up being a two-pager. There seems to be a lot of movie buffs on this site...
Knowing different people find different things funny, something I would consider to by funny would be Monty Python (especially Life of Brian). Something not funny, to me, is Napolean Dynamite.
So, if you got a second to spare, I'd appreciate any recommendations.

Some Like it Hot.....one of the funniest comedies ever IMO.
Starring Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and Marylin Monroe.

Stoner comedies are funny for instance half baked, how high, up in smoke. Although my high times are well behind me and now very few and far between I can't help but get a kick out of shows like that.
A really hilarious movie that I can think of right now is Kingpin. If I think of others I'll let you know.

One of the best Stoner movies is Super Troopers... not as funny if you're a sober loser though

Both Lock, Stock and Snatch could definitly be considered as comdies, why couldn't they? They are as much about laughs as they are about crime.
Snatch is probably one of the funniest movies to come out in the last 5 years.

Yeah - Snatch was awesome.
Some other funny movies that randomly come to mind:
Stealing Harvard
Roadkill (released recently on DVD - and it aged really well).
Jay and Silent Bob
Up in Smoke
