I'm appalled by the complete lack of mention of Timmy's. Timmy's coffee makes the day THAT much better.

Edit: Nevermind. I missed it in the first post apparently. You may now continue on with your lives.

I also love Buffalo Wild Wings whenever I'm in the States.
My first exposure was this summer when I was back home, the company is based in Missoula. I was hooked immediately. Great place.

I got back to Wichita and on a whim decided to see if they had any locations outside of Montana (actually I think I was trying to see if they had one in Calgary) and lo and behold they have 3 here in Kansas! Topeka, Manhattan and Olathe....all substantially smaller than Wichita. I gotta believe they're coming here soon! I think I'm actually going to drive the two hours to Topeka a week from Sunday and have a go up there! Yes, I love Hu Hot!!

Quizno's subs is the only fast food joint I'll walk into.

Timmy's Subs are ok, but their coffee is like yoo hoo.

Favourite fast food for me has to be from a good old English chippy. Problem is I don't get that very often now that I'm in Canada. "Doherty's" in Spruce Grove is pretty close but not quite the same.

I really like "Jack's", a burger joint, in Spruce Grove too.

My favourite chain would be Harvey's but, unfortunately, the one we had in Red Deer is no longer here. I only get to go there on visits to Cal or Edm.

I guess New York Fries are ok too.

When we were visiting Florida, "Steak n' shake" was a really good burger joint.

Oh I hear you - long ago, when I was but a lad, there was a fish'n'chip shop in Marlborough that was great, but you can't find (a good one) anywhere in Calgary that I've seen anymore. You need lots of hot fries, lightly battered fish and scads of vinegar - but should that be that hard? I'd think not, so I guess the market is just not there.

Funny you should mention BD's. I live in Mongolia and the guy who started BD's (first one was in Detroit) just opened one here.

Unfortunalty we dont have any fast food chains here, sucks big time. When I go to Beiing I always bring back 50-60 Double cheese burgers from Mickey-D's
