What a total loser. And he figures that those people were breeding with vegetables? His father must've been a turnip. I love how he figures he's so civilized because he has such PC beliefs, but he's still so childish as to go and do something like that.

I'm a fan of that show, but that was a pretty stupid "stunt". What a bunch of nancyboys. "I'm really scared, I'm really frightened". Boo hoo. The worst thing that happened to them was the woman called it right off the bat when she said "are you trying to get beat up in a hick town"?
The NASCAR SUCKS thing -- stupidly kind of funny, but come on, if you drove into certain neighborhoods in England with "MAN U SUCKS" scrawled across your car you'd get a lot more than dirty looks and rock or two.

Clarkson is PC? You need to watch more Top Gear, you'll quickly learn that Clarkson is widely loathed as the most un-PC person in the UK, hated for his undying passion for all things internal combustion, fast, and general destructive.
You of all people might be able to appreciate some of his off road antics, including his drive in a 4x4 to the north pole, and general driving of Land Rovers to crazy locations like mountain peaks in Scotland.

You should watch the entire show... just look up "Top Gear in America" and watch all 6 parts, most parts give a pretty good laugh.

Jeremy Clarkson is one of the most entertaining television personalities, motoring journalists, and humour columnists in the english language world. His sections in the Times (you can see on timesonline.co.uk) is hilariously intelligent in the way he manages to write an entire car review in metaphorical social commentary without actually talking about the car until the very end. He also has a witty opinion column dripping with British sarcasm. It's great.

Yeah, I like his show but that was a cliche ridden put up job. Terrible but probably typical of what a lot of Europeans think of rednecks and Alabama. They'd think the same about Alberta if they knew where it was. I think the Englishman came out as the ignorant one here.

Top gear is a great show ( i miss tiff needle)
The best episode is when they destroyed a toyata truck, Lit it on fire, dunked it in the ocean, ran it into a shed, dropped a trailer on it and than finally put it on top of a building than demolished the building! used a little bit of wd-40 and some rewiring and it still ran! i was amazed

Clarkson spends the majority of his holiday's in Canada. Most of the show is scripted and I wouldn't be surprised if the Alabama segment was as well.
