Giants get a gift with a Moss drop and then fail to double cover Moss on the exact same play leading to a Brady/Moss TD connection. And then a converted two-pointer.
31-28 Pats

Its one of those budweiser commercials...you have to see it. You will probably enjoy it because you are a Broncos fan.
I can't find the video on YouTube yet but if I do I will post it.

Congrats Pat fans and Patriots. A truly remarkable feat, one that I think will never be duplicated.
My preseason Pats over Cowbooys SB pick is looking pretty good now, though I truly hope Favre can get the Packers there somehow.
A legendary season from a legendary team.

Woah... It aint over until it's over.
And my week 6 SB pick of NE over DAL is also looking pretty good...
And Farve. If it wasn't for NE, I'd be hoping for GB.

Pats still have three more wins to get before the Dolphins will shut up.

Thats just a matter of waiting out the next 5 weeks, they'll get them. I have to give the Giants credit for battling the entire way through in this one, and the Pats too fought back really hard. For a mean nothing game those teams really went at it. I wouldn't be surprised to see this help the Giants next week, especially if Tampa takes tommorrow off against Carolina. The Giants basically played an amped up playoff style game....Tampa might not be able to match their intensity next week to start the game.
Not a Pats fan in the least, but I have to recognize what they've done. The 16-0 will always be mentioned, and when they get the Superbowl to go with it, it will be looked upon as the best team ever. Brady and Moss also get their records too. I have to admit that it was nice to see Brady and the celebration with his lineman after the TD. Those guys protected him great all year, and it's nice to see him reciprocate. For a game as tough as that one looked, he wasn't even sweating after the game!

Being a Colts fan, of course I despise the Patriots. HOWEVER, I will say congratulations to Tom Brady for breaking the TD record. Brady is a class act and I respect him. Congrats Tom.
In terms of 16-0, that's quite the feat. They came very close 3 or 4 times to losing but kept winning as elite teams do. I can't wait till the AFC Championship and hope we get another shot at them. They are the team to beat and I think we can do it. Should be a great test.
PS.......just a side story. Only 1 QB called Peyton Manning the morning of the Superbowl last year to offer advice and wish him the best..........Tom Brady. They chatted for 30 minutes. That's why I respect Brady, a class act. Hate his coach though, a complete arrogant jerk.

People throw around the word NEVER too much here, ex. an NFL team will NEVER win 16, the Jets will NEVER return to WIN. Of course anything can happen in sports, given enough time.
If the Giants keep playing like that, they will win the NFC. Hats off to the Giants. They really made the Pats earn it.
The perfect regular season should be highly regarded. It is harder to do that, than win the Superbowl.
Today I am a Colts fan. If they win, CLE is in the playoffs. I hope they come to play like NYG last night.

I never knew that story that is pretty cool considering Peyton had to get there through Bradys team.
Also regarding Bill I wonder what he is like away from football, this could just be his football coach poker face. But probably not...

Well you better hope Sorgi gets the job done. Dungy said he will be playing atleast one half, if not more. Harrison returns so Manning will start and i'm sure you will see a lot of passes to Harrison early on to get them in a rhythm again. I say Sorgi plays starting in the 3rd.

I said I THINK it will never be duplicated. Not the same as what you are complaining about.

Absolute garbage from the Seahawks today. Falcon fans are doing the wave...they're 3-12.
Sure, you've got spots wrapped up but indifferent play and piss poor attitudes going into the playoffs is junk. Only because they're in the 2nd weakest division in football are they heading to the playoffs, and played teams with horrible records (the easiest schedule in the league based on records).
Hasselbeck needs his hand held week to week, a complete high maitenence project. Mistakes rookies make. Making horrible throws and bad decisions...and then passing blame for those bad throws and his bad decisions, throwing him arms in the air and shaking his head and throwing temper tantrums.
That maybe fine 4 years ago, but he's been in the league 7 years now. Good thing Seattle got rid of the Kingdome, Hasselbeck head wouldn't fit in it his ego's so big. Turn your hat around when you're on the sidelines, you idiot.
Finally, thankfully, Holmgren is taking him to task for just doing enough to get by. Its gone so far as him requesting 90 seconds to cool off from Holmgren if Holmgren's mad at him. And Holmgren has lots of reason mad at him the last few weeks. For 5 weeks, against poor teams, he played well...the last few however, garbage...and there is mometum to be had in the post season and Hasslebaeck has taken the last 2 weeks off.
Then you have Wallace...he looks like he's being mentored by Hasselbeck...he's been in the league for more then a few years, and making the same horrible throws and looks like a deer in the headlihts when he makes those bad throws, having no clue why things went wrong.
Hard to believe Hasselbeck's getting mentioned in telecasts in the same breath as elite QB's in the league. He's got the tools, sure. But his horrible attitdue, and questionable decision making as what should be consdiered a veteran, keeps him well out of any talk of being in the top 5 QB's in the league...where I firmly believe he thinks he is and plays with that sense of entitlement more often than not.
I think SEA should win at home next week vs WSH or MIN, but cannon fodder for GB the next week, save GB throwing the game away....judging by last years divisional game, where Hasslebeck gets sacked on 3rd down when he could've dumped off a 5 yd gain and a chance for a long FG in OT before the Bears took the subsequent punt to get in FG themselves, he's just not smart enough under pressure to make that critical play that elite QB's seem to make 99% of the time.

Saints officially eliminated with a loss to the Bears. Redskins/Vikings battling now for the #6 seed in the NFC.
What we know in the NFC
1. Dallas
2. Green Bay
3. Seattle
4. Tampa Bay
5. NY Giants
6. Washington/Minnesota
In the AFC Tennessee gets in with a win over the Colts, otherwise the Browns are in at the #6 spot. Also SD/Pittsburgh are battling for the #3 seed.
What we know in the AFC:
1. New England
2. Indianapolis
3. San Diego/Pittsburgh
4. San Diego/Pittsburgh
5. Jacksonville
6. Cleveland/Tennessee
NFC Wild Card next week:
NY Giants @ Tampa Bay
Washington/Minnesota @ Seattle
AFC Wild Card next week:
Cleveland/Tennessee @ San Diego/Pittsburgh
Jacksonville @ San Diego/Pittsburgh
I think Washington will get in as will Cleveland.
