It may be your birthday, but there's work to be done! You have to welcome guests,
serve up the drinks,
prepare snacks,
manage the music as well,
and everything that comes with it.
Hopefully you'll receive a bunch of cool presents,
or cash, always come in handy.
Eventually, the evening and the fun and games end,
and everyone heads home, although there are always those that can't get enough.
You get stuck with the mess,
and after it all, you're exhausted.
Birthdays. Oh well. Tiring but memorable!
