anyone know if the city is keeping its schedule for Garbage collection tomorrow? i cant find any updates on the city website.

My garbage day is Tuesday but they came Monday this week.

only days affectesd are then 25th and 1st. Their collection will come on monday instead of Tuesday. Everyone elses remains the same.

Well, nobody on my street had garbage out on Monday, but we all have it out tonight.

Seriously, how hard would it be for the city to post it on their website? Their site says we will either get something in the mail, or to watch local media. Well, I got nothing in the mail, and Global TV never said anything. I'm sure the Herald likely had a full page ad that cost $10K- instead of getting somebody on the city's staff of web people to post something online. Too bad for so many people (like me) newspapers are just a dead medium.

It actually is on their website thats how i found it.

Garbage collection is at the bottom of the page.

You can find that page by clicking on the hours of operation on the city of calgary homepage. So it's not like it was buried.

I guess we have different definitions of "burried." For me- not having it anywhere on the garbage collection area; and in fact having blurb specifically telling us not to look any further on the city's website as the info is elsewhere.
