Default Spears is pregnant!

Not Brittany, but her 16 year old sis Jamie...

http://www.cbc.ca/arts/story/2007/12...-pregnant.html

should she be booted from her shows for this? not exactly a good role model for teens...also her families track record "appears" to be very poor when it comes to kids..

I can't help but laugh. The Spears family should go on the Steve Wilkos Show.

well something to be said about the upbringing of these girls, Britney working 8 hour days at the age of 4 - did these girls ever have a chance?

While I'm not exactly condoning the idea that 16 years olds are capable or ideal parents, I really don't see how this is so intriguing to people. It seems to me that a kid has gotten herself into an adult situation. Why is she getting crucified for it? I mean, y'all can call yourselves responsible and whatever else you want, but I'll go out on a limb and say that this kid has done more in her 16 years than alot of people do in their entire lives. Why is that relevant? Maybe because you don't know much about someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes.
She's 16. She's Britney's sister. Does that make her an idiot? She's not the only 16 year old that has gotten knocked up.
Really, to me, when I hear celebrities get bashed for making human mistakes, it just sounds like jealousy. Jealous people that revel in other, more successful people's mistakes.

A large part of it is the track record established by her older sister (who is rumored to be on her 3rd pregnancy now in basically 2 years).

sigh.

She's not the first 16 year old to get pregnant, and she won't be the last. The only reason this is newsworthy is because of who her sister is.

but.. don't let this stop a good pile-on session!!!!1

Well if she has a girl, at least Britney's boys will have someone to date in 14 years and hopefully keep their dirty chromosomes to themselves.

This is it exactly. We would not even hear about this Spears girl being pregnant except for the fact that she is Britney's sister. Otherwise, she could be any 16 year old girl on any street of North America because it is an ordinary occurrence within our society.

Snap.

But hey... For all the ones that think she's a terrible person/influence on young girls, consider that she could have gotten an abortion and not told anyone. Then it would have eventually leaked out and she'd be facing a different, more troublesome firestorm. How would you parents rather explain her actions to your children?

"would you have sex with her"
"oh yeah"
"really?"
"I would wreck that chick, I don't care what she looks like"

There goes my only ambition in life, bang lil' Spears. I guess I'll have to find another reason to go to hell...

But in a recent interview with the Associated Press, Spears said she had no steady boyfriend.
"I kind of just keep my options open," she said. "I have a bunch of friends that I always hang out with, a bunch of guy friends."
Does that make her sound like a whore to everyone else?
